O resumo é o seguinte:
“Ok primeiro a Rose está lendo a carta que o Dimitr mandou para ela. E está ponderando sobre o fato de ele ter mandado uma carta de amor e ameaça de morte e então ele na carta deseja sorte para ela nas suas tentativas de se tornar uma guardiã.Então enquanto ela está indo para o estádio ela ainda está pensando e explicando o que vai acontecer quando ela se formar.ntão quando ela chega aos testes ela tem que esperar no que é basicamente um ‘baracated pin’ (não sei o que significa esse termo). Desejando que o Dimitri estivesse lá para ajudá-la e encorajá-la a dar o seu melhor, ela imagina ele conversando com ela e então ela volta ao presente graças a voz de sua mãe que diz que Abe está lá. Para vê-la e Adrian está conversando com Abe no local. E então sua mãe a enconraja. Há outros dhampirs ali fazendo os testes e então ela é chamada e o capítulo acaba.
